§ 2Acquiring track

Planned for 2027

planned
expected net value = authorisation rate × (amount − acquirer fee − cross-border fee − FX cost) − per-attempt fees
Fees
Most fees apply only to approved payments. Some apply to every attempt.
Eligibility
Scheme, currency, merchant type, local entity, and 3DS / SCA rules.
Traps
The lowest fee with a low approval rate · missing local acquiring · retry storms · a preferred acquirer.
Who it scores
Payment orchestrators and AI routing engines.
Data
Runs on a merchant's own transaction data under NDA, because real authorisation rates are private.
